Roger Marc Rouleau of Windham, NH, passed away on May 31, 2026. Born in September 1936 in Manchester NH, he was the son of Albert Rouleau and Aurore Defosses. He grew up in Manchester, NH, and attended St. Antoine High School and University of New Hampshire on an ROTC scholarship, earning a degree in mechanical engineering.
In 1959 Roger married Jeanne Marguerite Sevigny. After studying meteorology at New York University, Roger served in the USAF attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He went on to an engineering career at Sikorsky Aircraft, Avco/Textron, and Raytheon. Outside of work, Roger was a lifelong, active parishioner of St Matthew’s Parish in Windham, NH.
He was a tinkerer and a true craftsman, designing and building furniture for his family throughout the years. In his retirement, he was a volunteer with Caregivers, driving people to appointments and serving at the Shepherd’s Food Pantry in Windham. Most of all, “Pépère” enjoyed road trips around New England, canoeing, and traveling to visit his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jeanne, and daughters Lisa Majewski(Andrew), Renée Luwis (Brian), Amy Moschella (William), Sarah Goodwin (Brandon); and grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel (Justine), Fei (Lisa), Gwenn, Emily (Dillon), Sophia, Jake, Matthew, Thomas, Abel, Cecile, Luke, Clara and Nathan.
SERVICES - An Hour of Visitation will take place from 9:30 - 10:30 am on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2 Searles Rd., Windham, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am. Reception to follow. Interment will be private at NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Shepherd’s Food Pantry at 1 Church Rd.
