Born in Canada on January 3, 1922, he was the son of Joseph and Marie (Plourde) Paradise. His family later moved to Nashua where he was educated.
During World War II and the Korean War he served in the US Navy. He then served in the Naval Reserve for 33 years and retired at the rank of chief petty officer.
Mr. Paradise worked as a fingerprint expert with the New Hampshire State Police for many years. He founded Allsafe & Vault, Inc. in 1950 where he served as president until his retirement in 1988.
He was a member of Washington Masonic Lodge #61 in Manchester and Bektash Temple Shriners in Concord. He was also a founding member of the Associated Locksmiths of America.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Rita (Gaam) Paradise, and by his second wife, Lucianne (Chauvette) Paradise.
The family includes two children, Ronica Hebert of Manchester and Richard Paradise of Bedford; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a sister, Jennette Marquet of Florida.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A private memorial service is planned and interment is at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
