Roger Simoneau

Roger Simoneau, 86, of Hooksett, died Oct. 30, 2004, after a sudden fall.

Born in Manchester, February 9, 1918, he was the son of George and Eva (Hebert) Simoneau. He had been a resident of Hooksett for many years.

Mr. Simoneau worked as a machinist with ArmTech for 15 years.

He was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church, Hooksett. He was an avid Red Sox fan who was born the same year the Red Sox had won their last World Series. He enjoyed fishing and was devoted to his family.

He was predeceased by his wife Yvette (Ricard) Simoneau and one son Roger Simoneau Jr.

Family members include two daughters, Jeanne Sylvain of Raymond, and Debbie Moore of Hooksett; five sons, Raymond Simoneau of Manchester, Normand Simoneau of Manchester, Robert Simoneau of Pembroke, Donald Simoneau of Manchester, and Roland Simoneau of Nashua; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Albert Simoneau, Louis Mailloux and Robert Mailloux, all of Manchester; a sister, Doris O'Neil of Farmington, MA; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday November 2, 2004 at Holy Rosary Church, Maine St., Hooksett. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
