Roger M. Woodward, 74, of Manchester, died September 23, 2016 at Catholic Medical Center after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
He was born in Derry on July 2, 1942 to Richard and Bernice Iris (Ford) Woodward. He served in the U.S. Army and lived in Manchester for most of his life.
Roger worked at Pitney Bowes in Manchester for 30 years.
He was married to Brayda A. (Ross) Woodward who died in 2006. He was also predeceased by a son, Eric M. Woodward in 1990, his parents and a brother, Donald Woodward.
He will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature and his focus on the good in everyone.
The family includes two sons, Daniel R. Woodward and his wife, Shannon, of Weare and Jason M. Woodward and his wife, Marina, of Manchester; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Christian, Mali and Carson; a great grandson, Dylan; two siblings, William Woodward and his wife, Barbara, of Epping and Nancy Currier of Whitefield; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
Private burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford.
