Roland G. Crete, 79, of Hooksett, died April 19, 2017 at Catholic Medical Center after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on August 26, 1937 to Armand and Elizabeth (Bellefeuille) Crete. He grew up in Manchester then lived in Hooksett for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Air Force in the early 1960's
Roland worked at General Electric in Hooksett for many years. He was a longtime communicant at St. Peter's Church in Auburn.
The family includes his wife of 55 years, Esther (Grimard) Crete of Hooksett; two children, Greg Crete and his wife, Lisa, of Goffstown and Valerie Heath and her fiancé, John Carlier, of Manchester; a grandson, Thomas Heath of Manchester; a brother, Paul Crete of Chelmsford, MA and cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two siblings, Theresa Hannon and Lionel Crete.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. Peter's Church, 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
