Roland D. St. Hilaire, 78, of Manchester, died November 28, 2004 at the Catholic Medical Center.
He was born in Manchester on February 9, 1926, the son of Arthur F. and Laura (Lamarine) St. Hilaire. He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Hesser College.
He was a former vice president for Manchester Security Service, retiring in 1993 after 30 years employment with the company. Prior to that, he had been employed as a staff supervisor by Daven Electronics Mfg. He was also co-owner of the Bedford Grove Rollaway from 1960-1980.
He was an auxiliary police officer in Goffstown and, prior to its closure, was a long-time communicant of St. Edmond Church.
He was pre-deceased by one brother, Arthur St. Hilaire who died in April of this year. He leaves behind his life-long companion, Dolores Roy of Goffstown, her children and grandchildren.
Members of his family include two brothers, Paul St. Hilaire of Manchester and Marcel St. Hilaire of Largo, FL; several nephews and nieces.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Thursday December 2, 2004. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
