Roland L. Roy, 61, of Manchester, died June 21, 2024 at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on August 18, 1962 to Lucien and Doris (Coulombe) Roy. He graduated from Central High School and lived in Manchester for all of his life.
Roland worked as a self-employed roofer for many years. He loved his dog, Chico.
He was predeceased by his father in 2011 and his wife, Tassia (Milonas) Roy in 2015.
Roland is survived by three children, Gene Moody III of Tennessee and Melody Moody and Bonnie Moody both of Manchester; four grandchildren; his mother, Doris (Coulombe) Roy of Manchester; two siblings, Raymond Roy of Manchester and Jeanne Roy of Massachusetts; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and his best friend, Tom Harvey.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday (6/25) from 9 to 11 a.m. followed immediately at 11 a.m. by a funeral ceremony, all at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Private burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester will be at the convenience of the family.
