Roland A. Senechal

He was born on August 1, 1944, in Manchester, the son of Andrew and Leona (Page) Senechal.

Prior to retirement, he had been employed by A.W. Therrien Roofing Co. Inc for 40 years as well as the owner of R & L General Maintenance for many years.

Roland was always active in his community, serving as a Cub Master and an advisor for the Leo's Club. He also volunteered for the Auburn Fire Department and was an active member of the Auburn Lion's Club.

He was a longtime communicant of St. Peter's Church and a member of the Holy Name Society.

Above all else, Roland loved spending time with his family and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lorraine P. (Therrien) Senechal of Auburn; his children, Roland Senechal Jr. of Auburn, David Senechal of Auburn, Ronald Senechal of Callahan, FL, and Lisa Frisella and her husband Anthony of Raymond; his grandchildren, Cynthia Senechal, Diane Senechal, Cassie Senechal, Gino Frisella, Adam Senechal, Nicole Frisella, Kyle Senechal, and Reyanna Langevin; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Theodore, Matthew, and Liam; his siblings, Paul Senechal and his wife Sue of Weare, Lucien Senechal and wife Carol of Manchester, Anita Grady of Raymond, Irene Lessard and husband Bob of Auburn, Laura Lessard and husband Larry of Pembroke; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog Venus. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Richard Senechal.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in St. Peter Church, Auburn. Burial will be in Longmeadow Cemetery at a later date.
