She was born in Manchester, March 16, 1928, and was the daughter of Napoleon and Aurore (Soucy) Roy. She had been a parishioner of St. George Parish, more recently St. Catherine.
She received her early education locally, and was a graduate of Notre Dame School of nursing, and received a bachelor's degree from St. Anselm, and a Master's degree from Boston College.
For many years Rollande was an instructor of nursing at the Elliot Hospital and the NH Technical College, in Concord.
IN HER LIFE: Family members include, 2 sisters, Lorraine A. Roy, of Manchester, Lillian Ethier, of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Irene Roy, of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; her caregivers Hank and Anita Roy; she was predeceased by 3 siblings, Henry N. Roy, Lucille Rousseau, Ernest Roy.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday, July 23, 2009 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock St. Manchester.
Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffsown Rd. Manchester.
