Ronald R. Bouchard

Litchfield, NH

   Ronald R. Bouchard, 75, of Litchfield, died October 23, 2022 at his home after a period of declining health.

   He was born in Manchester on September 4, 1947 to John and Georgia (Goverinos) Bouchard.  He attended NH Technical College and lived in Litchfield for most of his life.

   During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was awarded the Purple Heart.

   Ron was a longtime owner and operator of Ron Bouchard Construction Company and Yard Works, Inc.. 

   He loved to hit the road in his motor home, spend summers boating at the family’s home on Lake Winnepesaukee and to “wheel and deal”.  He also enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques and coins and was an avid car enthusiast. In his younger years, he was a master woodworker and cabinet maker.

   The most memorable moments were spending time with his beloved wife, his daughter and family and especially his “best buddy” Hunter.

   He was predeceased by his parents, his wife of 50 years, Sally A. (McGinnin) Bouchard in 2021 and a brother, Richard Bouchard.

   Ron is survived by his daughter, Ronisa Hannon and her husband, John, of Litchfield; his grandson, Hunter Hannon of Litchfield; three siblings, Roger Bouchard of Manchester, Joann Sullivan of Merrimack and Robert Bouchard and his wife, Lynn, of Concord; a sister-in-law, Christine Bouchard of Manchester and nieces and nephews.

   SERVICES:  Calling hours are Tuesday (11/1) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A funeral ceremony is Wednesday (11/2) at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Committal prayers both Ron and Sally will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
