Ronald A. Bourgeois, 75, of Manchester, died March 2, 2023 at his home after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on March 16, 1947 to Denis and Stella (Roberge) Bourgeois. He lived in Manchester for most of his life.
He served in the Army National Guard for 33 years and was a member of the 39th Army Band and its alumni group as well. He retired as a first sergeant.
Ronald worked at Velcro, USA in Manchester for many years. He had also worked at Bank of New Hampshire.
He was an avid Boston professional sports fan and a member of the American Legion Sweeney Post.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Richard Bourgeois.
Ronald is survived by three sons, Daniel J. Bourgeois and his wife, Mary, of Gilford, Joseph A. Bourgeois and his wife, Jaime, of Bedford and Ryan D. Bourgeois and his partner, Timothy Aveni, of Manchester; six grandchildren, Jasmine, Maccoy, Chloe, Cameron, Jordan and Joshua; a brother, Dennis Bourgeois and his wife, Karen, of Manchester; cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday (3/8) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow immediately after calling hours at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
