Ronald A. Deshaies, 69, of Litchfield, NH died August 16, 2017 at Catholic Medical Center.
He was born in Manchester, April 23, 1948 the son of Joseph R. and Yvette R. (Allard) Deshaies. He lived most of his life in Manchester and had been a resident of Litchfield the past several years.
He served in the US Air Force from 1967 to 1970.
Ron retired from the NH Department of Transportation where he had worked for 40 years.
He enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Patricia M. (Grady) Deshaies of Litchfield; two children, Sean J. Deshaies of Portland, OR and Stacey A. Hamilton and her companion Jason Durant of Manchester; five grandchildren, Ashley Deshaies, Katie Deshaies, Lindsay Deshaies, Kayla Durant and Connor Durant; a brother, Jean E. Deshaies and wife Jennifer of Merrimack, NH; two sisters, Jeannette Shafer of Torrington, CT and Irene Y. Groleau and husband Ronald of Hooksett; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, August 21, 2017 at St. Francis Church, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield, NH. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH
