Ronald R. Roy, 66, of Otto, NC, died October 12, 2017 at Angel Medical Center.
Born in Manchester on July 8, 1951, he was the son of Adrien and Theresa (Dargie) Roy. He was educated in Manchester. Ronald served in the US Army with an honorable discharge in 1978 at the rank Specialist. He also served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1980. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Bedford for 20 years before retiring in 2005.
Ronald camping, hunting, fishing and working on old cars. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Family includes his wife of 42 years, Cindy L. (Charest) Roy of Otto, NC; two sons, Ryan R. Roy and wife Jennifer of Franklin, NC, and Raymond R. Roy and wife Sandra of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Christian Roy, Alexia Roy, Brian Roy, Kendra Roy, and Ryder Roy; three sisters, Linda Savoie and husband Dennis of Northwood, Janet Gagnon and husband Steve of Bow, and Tina Lindhe and husband Ed of NY; two brothers, Laurent Roy & wife Gale of FL, and Paul Roy, Sr. and wife Shelly of Bedford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104.
