Ronald L. Roberts

 Ronald L. Roberts, 80, of Bedford, passed away on January 18, 2025 at his home after a period of declining health.

 He was born in Bristol, CT on May 1, 1944 to Lawrence and Margery (Hanna) Roberts.

He grew up in Bristol and later lived in Massachusetts for many years before moving to Bedford where he had lived for the past 38 years.

 During the 1960’s he served in the U.S. Navy in submarine service. He then earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, both from Babson College. 

 Ronald was a financial advisor and co-owned and operated the Eideard Group in Bedford. He enjoyed playing golf and was a longtime member of the Manchester Country Club where he had served on its board of directors. He also enjoyed fly-fishing, cooking and watching the Food Network Channel.

 He was predeceased by his parents and two siblings, Gary Roberts and William Roberts.

 Ronald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda (Swanson) Roberts; a son, R. Tucker Roberts; a sister, Jean McCreesh; cousins, nieces and nephews.
