Ronald C. Taylor, 86, of Bedford died Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born November 10, 1936 in Lowell, Massachusetts, he was the son of Albert H. Taylor and Genevieve A. (Chambers) Taylor Jennings.  He grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts and moved to Merrimack, New Hampshire in 1965.  He enjoyed 58 years of marriage with his wife Beverly (Perkins). Ron was an active member of the Lowell High School Regiment and graduated in 1954. After enlisting in the National Guard he attended the Massachusetts Military Academy. He continued to serve in the National Guard for 20 years, retiring with the rank of Major in 1976. Ron spent nearly fifty years in the grocery industry. He retired as an executive from Demoulas Corporation in Tewksbury, Massachusetts in 2000.

Ron loved anything to do with the outdoors.  In addition to being an avid photographer, he enjoyed skiing, camping, and traveling with many of his nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Ron is survived by his wife Beverly C. Taylor; his sister Marsha Plourde; many nieces and nephews, as well as great and great-grand nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Genevieve Taylor and his brother Wayne Taylor.

SERVICES: Calling hours for Ronald will be Thursday November 17th from 10 am to 1 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH, followed by a funeral service at 1 pm in the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire
