Rosaire J. Gagnon

August 11, 1920 — April 5, 2002

Rosaire "Ross" Gagnon, 81, of Manchester died April 5, 2002 at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on August 11, 1920, he was the son of Josephat and Corana (Malo) Gagnon. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps for over five years and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal.

Mr. Gagnon worked at Jewell Electric, Raytheon Corporation and Rich's Department Store all in Manchester for many years.

He was a communicant of St. Pius X Church and was a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood.

He was predeceased by a son, Dennis R. Gagnon in 1971.

The family includes his wife of 52 years, Claire (Vanasse) Gagnon of Manchester; a daughter, Arlene Lopata-Houle of Manchester; a granddaughter, Meghan Anne Lopata of Manchester; a sister, Rose Desfosses of Manchester; several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday April 8, 2002 in St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Rd. and Sarto St., Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
