Rose Colbert

Rose (DeStefano) Colbert, 96, died October 17, 2006 at a Goffstown healthcare facility after a period of declining health.

She was born in Boston, MA on September 11, 1910. She was educated in the South Boston public school system.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who spent her life caring for her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, James D. Colbert and daughter, Rosemary O'Brien.

Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Carol DeCola of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Rick, Ron, Donna, Deb, Karen, Patty, Nancy, and E.J; numerous great-grandchildren; her former daughter-in-law, Kathleen DeCola of Merrimack.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Catherine Church on Friday October 20, 2006. Burial was in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree, MA.
