Rose A. Godbout

Rose A. (Gelinas) Godbout, 85, of Pinardville, died July 18, 2004 at a local health care facility.

She was born in Manchester on July 5, 1919, the daughter of Euchariste and Alexandrine Gelinas. She was educated in the local school system.

Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a salesclerk for Stuart's Department Store.

She was a longtime communicant of St. Edmond Church.

Members of her family include her husband Maurice W. Godbout of Pinardville; One son, Robert M. Godbout of King Ferry, NY; Three daughters, Mrs. W. Michael (Cecile) Corson of Northwood, Ms. Denise Godbout of Allentown, PA, and Mrs. William (Lorraine) Watkins of Dunbarton; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; One brother, Emile R. Gelinas of Manchester; nephews and nieces.

A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in The Parish of the Transfiguration St. John,107 Alsace St. Manchester, on Thursday July 22, 2004. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
