Rose A. Lavallee

February 10, 1916 — June 26, 2004

Rose A. Lavallee, 88, of Manchester, died June 26, 2004, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Born in St. Joseph, Canada, February 10, 1916, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Valerie (Lessard) Thompson. She lived most of her life in Manchester.

Mrs. Lavallee worked at Waumbec and other mills in the area for many years.

She loved crocheting, was an avid reader, and enjoyed repairing socks for her grandchildren. She was a fan of Bob Barker and the Price is Right game show.

Mrs. Lavallee had been a member of several bowling leagues at 20 alleys.

She was married to Paul Lavallee who died in 2000.

Family members include a daughter, Joan Catano of Manchester; a son, Richard R. Lavallee of Leetz, FL; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Lamy of Allenstown.

A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday June 30, 2004 at St. Catherine Church. Urn burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
