Rose M. Poitras
July 23, 1925 — October 27, 2011
She was born in Manchester on July 23, 1925 and was daughter of Eugene and Lena (Dubois) Allard.
She worked many years in local textile mills as a folder.
Rose enjoyed crocheting and going to the senior center to teach arts and crafts. She also enjoyed taking bus trips with the seniors.
The family includes, a son, Richard Poitras and his wife, Pricilla, of Manchester: three grandchildren, Kristopher, Kelly and Sara; and two great-grandchildren, Blake and Evan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Poitras, and by her son, David Poitras.
A burial took place on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
