Rose C. Pouliot

Rose C. Pouliot, 86, of Manchester died Monday February 27, 2023 at Catholic Medical Center.

Born June 18, 1936 in Dover, she was the daughter of Wilfred & Regina (Daigle) Laroche.  She grew up on a dairy farm in Durham and attended local schools.  In 1955 she married the love of her life Alfred E. Pouliot and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage until his death in 2016.  Prior to retirement she worked as an assembler for Allen Bradley.

Rose was very involved at Parish of the Transfiguration, where she was a member of the choir, helped clean the church, and served people at bereavement meals.  She also volunteered at CMC, bringing knitted prayer shawls and baby hats to patients there.  She was a member of Heal and Toe Square Dancing group and she loved animals, especially her dog Ralphie.  Most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her daughters Jeanette Ellis of Manchester, Reverend Irene P. Pouliot of Maryland, and Lorraine Moore & her husband Jonathan of Chocorua; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and her sister Therese Hayes.  She was predeceased by her husband Alfred, her parents, Wilfred & Regina, her great-granddaughter Katie, her son-in-law Steven Ellis, and her siblings Fernand, Paul, Raymond, Albert, Roger, George, & Cecile.

SERVICES:  Calling hours will be Monday March 6^th from 5 to 7 pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday March 7^th at 10 am at Parish of the Transfiguration, 305 Kelley St., Manchester, followed by committal prayers at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
