She was born in Lowell, MA on January 6, 1919, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Anderson) Sayer. She was educated in the Lowell school system.
She had been employed as a knitter with Manchester Knitted Fashions for many years prior to retiring from RCL Electronics.
Rose was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed trips to the beach as well as shopping with family and friends. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and she was a longtime communicant of the former St. Patrick Church in Manchester.
Her husband of nearly 69 years Henry A. Routhier died on November 20th of this year.
Family members include one son, Henry A. Routhier Jr. and his wife Lynn of Del Ray Beach, FL; one daughter, Janice Beaudin and her husband Roger of Manchester; three grandchildren, Kristine, Robin and David; two great-grandsons, Nickolas and Ryan; one brother, Norman Sayer of Lowell; two sisters, Ethel Chancey of Chelmsford and Alice Winters of Lowell; nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2010 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army 121 Cedar St., Manchester, NH 03101 or to the Blessed Sacrament Parish Food Pantry, 14 So. Elm St, Manchester, NH 03103.
