Rose Thirkill

June 21, 1952 — October 28, 2009

Rose Thirkill, 57, of Bedford died October 28, 2009 at Community Hospice House, Merrimack surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 21, 1952 to David and Fay (DeFalco) McGuire.

She worked as a professional ballerina, a flight attendant for Trans World Airlines, and an investment consultant.

She enjoyed life. She was loved by all she met.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes her beloved husband of 21 years, David Thirkill of Bedford; two children, Caroline Thirkill and Mac Thirkill both of Bedford; two step children, Claire Thirkill of Gibraltar and Major Julian Thirkill and his wife, Katie, of Townsville, Australia; and three grandchildren, Archie, Alexander and Grace.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester
