Rosemarie Ducharme, 91, of Manchester, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home. She was born in Watertown, MA to the late Frank and Mary (Grady) Zaino.
Rosemarie grew up in Manchester and had a career in residential real estate, becoming the first female President of the New Hampshire Board of Realtors, in 1984, operated Classy Creations, which was a candy store in Bedford, as well as baking professionally and for family and friends. In her later years she was very active with the Salvation Army.
Rosemarie is survived by her two sons: William and Robert Ducharme; her daughter-in-law: Mary Ducharme; three siblings: Dolores Minuti and her husband Fred, Frances Parker and her husband John, Mary Pierce and her husband Dick; nine grandchildren: Kevin, Caitlin, Erin, Bryan, Calvin, Carissa, Tony, Grant and Grace; nine great-grandchildren: Clare, Will, Ben, Elise, Alyssa, Jimmy, Evie, Tommy, Maeve; and many nieces and nephew whom she cherished.
In addition to her parents, Rosemarie is predeceased by her beloved husband: Roger Ducharme; and her son: Thomas Ducharme.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester from 9am to 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm St. in Manchester at 11am. Burial will be private at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, where she will be reunited with her husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Northern New England Division, 297 Cumberland Ave., Portland, ME 04101.
