Born in Lebanon on August 11, 1942, he was the son of Cedric and Helen (Lareau) Currier. He grew up in Lebanon and graduated from Sacred Heart School and Lebanon High School. He lived in Manchester and Hooksett many years.
He was in the first graduating class to earn a four-year degree at New Hampshire College in 1967.
Mr. Currier worked at Vacuum Barrier, Inc. in Woburn, MA for 28 years. He retired as Marketing and Sales Manager.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, keeping up with the stock market and vacationing in Aruba.
The family includes his wife of 44 years, Linda A. (Rogers) Currier of Hooksett; two sons, Andrew R. Currier of Meredith and Roy E. Currier II of Manchester; cousins, nieces and nephews.
IN HIS LIFE: The family also includes three grandchildren, Megan B. Currier, Bridget B. Currier and Roy E. Currier III.
His greatest strength was to make everyone laugh from his joke telling. Because of that, he had a large circle of friends who admired him. His greatest love was his wife, Linda. She cared for his every need with willingness and an open heart.
The funeral was held Monday November 19, 2007 in the funeral home.
