Ruby Dodge, 93, of Bedford, NH peacefully slipped into the arms of Jesus on April 11, 2016 at Bel-Air Nursing & Rehab Center in Goffstown, NH after a period of failing health.
She was born March 21, 1923 in Terra Alta, West Virginia the daughter of Joseph and Hester (Teets) Niner. She married Charles S. Dodge in 1941 and enjoyed 62 years with him until his death in 2003.
She leaves two daughters, Carol Sue Watts of Morrisville, NC and Kathryn Ann Sasseville of Bedford, NH; 5 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a sister, Garnett Elsey of Mount Sterling, KY; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Valley Bible Church, Stephens City, VA with burial in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA.
Memorial donations may be made to Bel-Air Nursing & Rehab Center, 29 Center St., Goffstown, NH 03045.
Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted with arrangements.
