Diane “Ruby” Lavigne, 73, of Manchester, died May 3, 2025 at The Courville at Manchester after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on July 6, 1951 to Clifton and Laura (Caron) Lavigne. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She graduated from Manchester Memorial High School and earned an associate’s degree from Hesser Business College.
Ruby worked at Raytheon Corporation for 26 years and at Jewell Electric for several years, both in Manchester.
She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne at St. Anthony Parish in Manchester and the Big Sister Association. She enjoyed softball, golf, riding a bike and dining out. She also enjoyed traveling and had been to many countries in Europe.
She was predeceased by her parents and four siblings, Carol Spampinato, Robert Chase, Louis Chase and Linda Savage.
Ruby is survived by her longtime best friend, Terry St. Gelais of Manchester; her sister, Beatrice Beauchemin of Manchester; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great great nieces.
SERVICES: A calling hour is on Thursday (5/8) from 9 to 10 a.m., followed immediately at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester.
