Rufus G. Young

He was born in Scranton, AR on April 14, 1936 to Guy and Maime (Walker) Young.

During the 1950's he served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Young was an insurance adjuster for many years at New Hampshire Insurance Company, Bishop Associates and was a partner at Flynn, Reidel & Young, all in Manchester. He was a member of the NH Insurance Adjusters Association where he served a term as its president.

He was married to Roberta J. (Dinwoodie) Young who died in 2003.

The family includes three daughters, Robin Tarkleson of Matinicus, ME, Juli Laughlin of Naples, ME and Heidi Pierce of Milton, VT; eight grandchildren; a sister, Betty Mazer of Wamego, KS; a brother, David Young of Olathe, KS; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal service was held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St, Bedford.
