Russell J. Nelson

Born in Manchester on July 26, 1944, he was the son of Fred and Helen (Sidlik) Nelson. He lived in Bedford for 31 years.

Mr. Nelson worked in the construction industry for many years. He most recently worked as a construction superintendent for Roads Corporation of Billerica, MA.

He was an avid golfer.

The family includes his wife of 46 years, Mary Ellen (Turner) Nelson of Bedford; his father, Fred Nelson of Manchester; two brothers, Wayne Nelson of Manchester and William Nelson of Virginia; one aunt and cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Friday, May 29, 2009 in the funeral home.
