Ruth E. (White) Dudley, 84, of Manchester, died May 18, 2016 at Ridgewood Nursing Home in Bedford after a long illness.
She was born in Malden, MA on March 7, 1932 to Joseph and Alice (McGrath) White. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Ruth worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company, Pandora Knitted Fashions, Mammoth Mills and Building 19. She enjoyed crocheting, listening to music and book on tape.
She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, James T. Dudley in 2014; a daughter, Janice Dudley; a grandson, Richard Dudley and two siblings, Fern Cole and Jeannette Senter.
The family includes two children, James T. Dudley Jr. and his wife, Joanne, of Temple, TX and Helen E. Harr of Manchester; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Hulbert of Peabody, MA and Brenda Quimby of Haverhill, MA; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.
