Ruth A. (Boynton) Gagne, 82, of Franklin died March 12, 2005 at the Peabody Home in Franklin after a sudden illness.
Born in Franklin on May 14, 1922, she was the daughter of Ernest W. and Hazel M. (Morse) Boynton. She lived most of her life in Hooksett before moving to Franklin two years ago.
She worked for over 30 years at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord as a nurse's aide and later as a housekeeper before retiring.
Mrs. Gagne enjoyed camping and was a member of the Holiday Ramblers for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland G. Gagne who died in 1988, two sons, Gerard Gagne and Albert Gagne, two grandchildren, four sisters and four brothers.
The family includes two daughters, Beverly A. LeClair of Boscawen and Bonnie L. Mckenzie of Laconia; two sons, Reginald J. Gagne of Concord and Robert A. Gagne of Horse Corner Rd., Chichester; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
IN HER LIFE: Mrs. Gagne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life loving and nurturing her children and grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Wednesday March 16, 2005 in the funeral home. Spring burial was in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hooksett.
