Ruth E. Gould

Ruth E. (Cammon) Gould, 87, of Goffstown, NH died November 1, 2006 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH after a brief illness.

Born in Boston, MA on February 19, 1919, she was the daughter of George and Mildred (Sparks) Cammon. She grew up in Wakefield, MA and lived many years in Danvers, MA before moving to New Hampshire 10 years ago.

Mrs. Gould worked as a secretary with the school lunch program for the Danvers (MA) School District for many years. She had been active with the Brownies and Girl Scouts.

She created unique designs for the clothing she knitted for her family and enjoyed bowling and ceramics. She was a loving, caring and calming person who enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was married to Raymond O. Gould who died in 1985.

The family includes two daughters, Lois A. Legro and her husband, Alfred of Bedford, NH and Diane R. McDermott and her husband, Mark of Danvers, MA; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Friday November 3, 2006 in the funeral home. Burial followed in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA
