Ruth M. Moreau

Ruth M. (Bussiere) Moreau, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, of Manchester, died peacefully on March 5, 2024, at the age of 89 surrounded by the love of family. 

Born in Hooksett, NH on June 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Irene (Belisle) Bussiere.  She graduated from Central High School in Manchester.

Ruth took great pleasure in being a devoted wife and homemaker, later working alongside her husband as a “chase car driver” for Mack Truck following his retirement from a career in the trucking industry.   She enjoyed fishing, traveling with her family, particularly visiting Northern New Hampshire, and spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Gilbert J. Moreau in 2009.  She was also predeceased by her son, Jeffrey J. Moreau, son-in-law, Armand Dubois, and brother, Raymond Bussiere. 

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Gail L. Dubois of Manchester, Karen Croteau of Mesa, AZ; and daughter-in-law Cheryl Moreau of Bedford; Her grandchildren, Amanda Dubois and her partner Brian Lemire, Hannah and Michael Boutselis, Sarah and Steve Caito, Bethany and Nathan LaFleur, Holly and Kyle Charest, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Croteau; and great-grandchildren, Callen, Ethan, Sophia, Brookelynn, Taylor, Rylie, Charlotte, Harper, Jackson, and Lily; and her sister, Claire Gagnon of Manchester; and her beloved dog, Ruby. 

A private service will be held for immediate family. Donations may be made in her memory to the Foster and Adoptive Resource Exchange (FARE), NH Foster and Adoptive Parent Association or a charity close to your own heart.
