Ruth B. Turlis, 92, of Manchester, passed away on Monday, July 23rd at her home surrounded by family.
Born in Manchester, NH on March 17, 1926 she was the daughter of Rachel (Leblanc) and Albert Battryn.
Ruth was a graduate of Manchester West High School. She worked in graphics for the Yellow Book in New York and at the Elliot Hospital in medical records for 16 years before retirement in 1993.
Ruth lived in New York for 30 years before returning home to Manchester. She was a member of the Belgium Club, and gymnastics.
Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband John G. Turlis.
Family members include her daughter Georgia Paris and her husband Gerard of Manchester; son John Turlis of Beverly, MA; and nephew Robert Gee of Falmouth, MA.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ruth to The Visiting Nurses Association, 1070 Holt Ave, Suite 1400 Manchester, NH 03109.
SERVICES – Services will be held privately at the family's convenience.
