Ruth Yates Santorsa, 88, of Bedford, NH died November 21, 2016, at her son's home after a brief illness.
Born in Massachusetts, she was the daughter of George and Ester (Hiscoe) Yates. She lived with her son, Michael's family, for many years before her death.
Mrs. Santorsa was a Registered Nurse dedicating her life to caring for others, especially children. She parented seven foster children at various times throughout her life, along with two biological sons.
She was a communicant at several Catholic churches over her life.
Family members include her husband of 51 years, Frank A. Santorsa, Sr. (predeceased); 2 sons, Michael P. Santorsa of Bedford, NH and Frank A. Santorsa Jr. of Londonderry; 4 grandchildren; Matthew, Christopher, Katherine, and Frank III (Tony); nieces and nephews; and seven predeceased siblings.
Her ashes were interred with her husband's in a columbarium at the Boscawen, NH Veteran's Cemetery.
