Sandra Desrochers

She was born in Manchester on October 13, 1948, the daughter of Stanley and Stella (Ziarko) Swierz. She was educated at St. Casimir and Immaculata Schools in Manchester, attended Rivier College in Nashua and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University.

She worked as an office assistant at Woodsville High School in Woodsville, NH. She also worked as a bookkeeper/receptionist at the Manchester Court Club, as a bookkeeper for Sealpro Inc. in Manchester and later for National Credit Service in Bedford, NH until disabled by her illness.

Sandra was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and she will always be remembered for her indomitable spirit, soft, loving manner and subtle wit. Her favorite pastimes were doing puzzles and collecting stuffed animals. There was never a FreeCell, Crossword or Sudoku she couldn't solve or a Beanie Baby she didn't love. Her loss will leave a void in the lives of all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband of forty years, Leo R. Desrochers of Manchester; two daughters, Lisa Moser of Merrimack, NH, and Lynn Harrington of Kennebunk, ME; five grandchildren; numerous cousins.

The funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday October 9, 2008 St. Hedwig Church, Manchester. Burial followed in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford.
