Saundra J. Wexler

February 19, 1941 — July 22, 2024

Manchester

Manchester, NH – Saundra J. Wexler 83, longtime resident of Manchester, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Elliot Hospital.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 19, 1941, she was the eldest daughter of the late George and Molly (Kosonovitz) Fram. Saundra had a passion for education and studied to become a teacher, eventually earning her Master’s in Special Education from Notre Dame College in Manchester. She was a dedicated and compassionate second grade teacher for Parker Varney Elementary School for over 20 years before her retirement.

In her younger years Saundra was an active member of the Jewish Federation. She also was a member of many local senior groups, Mugs and Muffins being one of her favorites.

Saundra was a caring and supportive friend and always looked forward to lunches and intimate social gatherings with those close to her. In retirement, she enjoyed keeping her mind sharp with her nightly routine of watching Jeopardy alongside her guilty pleasure of Telanovelas.

Above all, family was most important to Saundra. She was a loving mother and doting grandmother, and never let a holiday or anniversary go by without a card or gift. She will be remembered most for her generosity.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Wexler and her brother, Ralph Fram.

Saundra is lovingly remembered by her daughter Hillary Elefson and husband, Andrew of Manchester; son Matthew Wexler and wife, Naoko of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren, Michael Hiroki Wexler and Felix Taisei Wexler; and her sister, Saralee Bougher and husband, George of Rochester, NH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A graveside service will take place at 11am on Thursday, July 25th at the Hebrew Cemetery, S. Beech St., Manchester, NH 03103.
