Shane A. Rondeau

March 31, 1983 — February 24, 2025

Shane Andrew Rondeau, 41, of Manchester, NH passed peacefully in his sleep on February 24, 2025. Shane was born in Manchester, NH to Susan (Archambault) and Donald Rondeau on March 31, 1983, graduated from Manchester Central High School in 2001, and briefly attended the University of New Hampshire. He lived his entire life in the Queen City.

Shane lit up any room with his easy smile and humor. He made new friends everywhere, winning them over with his charm, laughter, amazing dance moves, and riotous stories and jokes. He relished recounting tales of his misspent adventures and unexpected gains. Shane deeply loved his family, friends, music, learning, and the New England Patriots. Shane would drop everything to be there for family or friends in need of assistance or a good time. His greatest joys in life were his children, Angelina Allen and Sebastian Rondeau. Whether taking music classes with Angelina to perform guitar alongside her singing or playing endless video games and Magic the Gathering with Sebastian, he was happiest when spending time with them and being a dad.

Shane was employed in the tech sector until being diagnosed with a rare brainstem tumor in 2018. Despite the surgeries, rehabilitation, and ongoing physical challenges and limitations, he persevered. With his big heart, matching personality, and keen wit he loved to remind us that he could best (almost) all of us at Jeopardy at any time. Shane had an affinity for games of all types, but especially esoteric card games. He spent many hours playing Mitten and eating poutine with his sister and Canadian family, Crat and Mille Bournes with his friends, and deadly games of Spoons for coins with his cousins as a kid.

Shane is survived by his children, Angelina Allen and Sebastian Rondeau of Candia, NH; mother, Susan Rondeau of New Boston, NH; father, Donald (Joyce) Rondeau of Goffstown, NH; sister, Heather (Trevor) Willis of Essex, VT; nephews Daniel and Jonathan Festa and niece Elena Willis of Essex, VT. He also leaves many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his former wife, Julie Rondeau, for whom he maintained great affection. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Carole and Roland Archambault, and his paternal grandparents, Annette and Louis Rondeau.

Visiting hours will be held at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St, Manchester, NH on Friday, February 28, 4:00pm-7:00pm with small service performed at 7:00 pm. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
