Sharon E. (Eaton) DeLisi, 69, of Hooksett, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December, 17, 2016 at CRVNA Hospice House in Concord after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Cortland, NY on March 17, 1947 to Stephen and Arvila (Branch) Eaton. She lived in Scranton, PA, Bridgeton, NJ, Butler, PA, Kailua-Kona, HI, Philadelphia, PA, Belleville, IL, Columbus, OH and Manchester before moving to Hooksett in 1988.
She earned a bachelor's degree from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA and a PHT (Putting Hubby Through) degree from the spouses association of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Sharon was active with church missionary work over many years and was currently a member of the Bedford Road Baptist Church in Merrimack. She also assisted her husband with his medical practice and was a member of the Advocates of the American Osteopathic Association. She enjoyed singing in church choirs, gardening and being with people. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family.
The family includes her husband of 48 years, Nate F. DeLisi, D.O. of Hooksett; two children, Jennifer White and her husband, Eric, of Montevideo, MN and Joshua DeLisi of Manchester; two granddaughters, Sophia White and Olivia White; four siblings, Marian Risoff of Chicago, IL and San Diego, CA, Carolyn Orr and her husband, Arthur, of Binghamton, NY, Chauncey Eaton and his wife, Judie, of Moravia, NY and Martin Eaton and his wife, Lucille, of Mechanicsburg, PA; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Bedford Road Baptist Church, 67 Bedford Rd., Merrimack. A cemetery committal service was held on Monday, January 9, 2017 in the chapel at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Bedford Road Baptist Church", for its missionary program or toward building and property and mailed to 67 Bedford Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
