Shirley L. Gagnon

Shirley Lise Noele Léger Gagnon passed away December 19, 2024 after a fall that broke her hip, which later developed an infection.

Shirley was born in Sherbrooke, Canada to Jeanette (Moreau) and Leonard Léger December 4, 1943.  

She grew up in Nashua NH where she met her husband Paul at a Christian Youth Organization. They married October 22, 1966 and raised a family in Manchester, later building and living in their home on “Gagnon Mountain”. She worked in various clerical positions including The Board of Realtors and Manchester Redi-mix while she raised her children and cared for her mother. In retirement, Shirley loved to travel in their motor home and listen to Elvis + Julio. 

She was a loving and dutiful wife and mother. She met obstacles and challenges not with complaints, but with an attitude of gratitude and the understanding it could be worse.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband Paul of 58 years, son Eric Gagnon of Nashua, NH and daughter Lisa Buell of Maui, Hawaii .

Services: A funeral mass will be held Saturday December 28, 2024 at St. Lawrence Church,  1 E. Union St., Goffstown, NH at 10a
