Shirley Ann (Ouimette) Lambiris, 78, of Manchester passed away, on November 8, 2024, after a short and valiant battle with her declining health. Her loving family members were by her side when she muttered her last words: “BYE”…
Born in Manchester on August 5, 1946, she was the daughter of Joseph Antoine Gerard and Madelyn Elizabeth (Blair) Ouimette. She graduated from the Business Course at Manchester Central High School and the Academie Moderne in Boston.
Prior to retirement, Shirley worked as a Customer Sales Manager with Jewell Instruments; she acquired many accolades for her ability to deal with all types of clients. In her younger years, Shirley worked at the Manchester Veterans Hospital (now VAMC) as a receptionist. She has always had a great respect for Veterans, as both her parents were WWII veterans - her Father having two Purple Hearts.
Shirley loved dancing and singing; she was a cast member of the “Silver Stars” and performed in their many musical shows. She took dance lessons from the Patty Allen Dance Studio and later became a part-time dance instructor with the studio. Yard sales and bargain hunting was always a favorite activity for Shirley as well as Bingo with her group of loyal friends. Recently, Shirley became involved in several community activities/issues and was deeply committed to being involved.
She was a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA) - serving as New Hampshire State Department Junior Vice Commander and Manchester Unit #1’s Senior Vice Commander.
Previously, Shirley was a member of the Red Hatters, and is currently a member of the Hudson Lions Club (her favorite activity was playing an Elf when Santa came to town).
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Harold Beaulieu; two sons, Mark and Jason Lambiris; her brother, Donald G. Ouimette;. her niece, Elizabeth Fowler Robinson and a nephew, Claude F. Morin, Jr.
Family members include her daughter, Tiffany Clement and her fiancé Steve Maniscalco of Pennsylvania; her son, Ronald Lambiris of NH; her granddaughters, Giuliana, Sicilia, and Adelina; sisters, Jerilyn Maynard and husband Ronald of Hudson, Nancy Reichard and husband Paul of Warner, NH,
step-daughter, Brenda Kenyon of Westmoreland, NH and many cousins, nephews, nieces.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester, will be Tuesday, November 12th from 5 to 7 pm. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 am in the funeral home chapel and burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
