Shirley A. Poehlman

Shirley A. Poehlman, 87, of Goffstown, died peacefully at Hillsborough County Nursing Home on Thursday, October 19, 2023. 

Born in Manchester on January 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Verna (Reid) Poehlamn.  Educated in the local school system, Shirley was a graduate of  St. Joseph High School for Girls in 1953. 

Shirley spent 33 years being employed by NE Telephone, which is now Verizon, before retiring in 1989.  She then went on to work for Goffstown Truck Center, where she was a bus driver for 15 years, before retiring in 2004.  In her free time, Shirley enjoyed rescuing many pets including, German Sheppard’s and Collies. 

Shirley was predeceased by all of her living relatives.
