Simone B. (Fredette) Morris, 68, of Hooksett, died March 14, 2015 at CRVNA Hospice House in Concord after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester on February 13, 1947 to Henri and Rita (Godbout) Fredette. She graduated from St. Anthony High School and later lived in Williamstown, MA, Lee, NH and Clarkson, MI before moving to Hooksett.

She briefly worked at the former New Hampshire Insurance Company in Manchester.

Simone was a very spiritual person and was a talented pianist and guitarist who had written her own music. She was skilled at many crafts including sewing, knitting afghans, gardening and all-around home projects. She was a member of the Hooksett Library Knitting Group.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

The family includes her husband of 45 years, Currie E. Morris of Hooksett; two children, Christopher Morris and his wife, Raquel, of Littleton, CO and Susan Morris of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Ashley, Hannah and Joshua Morris; four siblings, Lucille Benoit of Goffstown, Roger Fredette and his wife, Judith, of Mims, FL, Jeanine Routhier and her husband, Denis, of Vero Beach, FL and Andre Fredette and his wife, Joanne, of Coatesville, PA; her godmother, Bertha Demers and a special aunt, Yvette Lamontagne both of Manchester; and other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Roland Fredette.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
