Simonne L. Belisle

Simonne L. Belisle, 95, of Hooksett, died on April 7, 2022, at Bedford Center Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Hooksett on March 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Hebert) Mulaire. She attended Pembroke Academy and worked for NH Insurance for many years.
Simonne enjoyed knitting, mostly double yarn mittens for family and friends. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Hooksett Entertainers who would perform for the residents in local nursing homes. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. She was very caring, and took care of her father-in-law when he was ill. Simonne's family was her greatest passion. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Simonne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 73 years, Leo G. Belisle, in 2020; and one grandson, Wesley Belisle.
Surviving family members include four children, Gloria Levasseur and husband Real of Hooksett, Roland Belisle and wife Rose Ann of Hooksett, Richard Belisle and wife Cathy of Manchester, and Edward Belisle and wife Carrie of Loudon; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by both parents; and her eight siblings.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at 10 am on Wednesday at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hooksett NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Wesley's Way Foundation, 373 S. Willow St., Manchester, NH 03103. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
