Sr. Adrienne Gendron P.M.

Sr. Adrienne Gendron P.M. 79, died November 18, 2016 at St. Joseph's Residence after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manville, RI on January 2, 1937 to Adrien and Lillian (Poisson) Gendron.
Sr. Adrienne earned her B.A. at Catholic Teachers' College and her M.A. at Rivier University. She taught at various elementary schools in RI. She was also involved with Marie Rivier Assoc., Companion Care Program, and Prison Ministry in NH. She retired at St. Joseph's Residence in Manchester in 2013.
Sr. Adrienne leaves one sister, Germaine Antaya of SC; three brothers, Lucien, Gerard, and Paul of Lincoln, RI; and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in the Resurrection Chapel of the Ste. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH. Burial followed in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Presentation of Mary Retirement Fund, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH 03104. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester was in charge of arrangements.
