Sr. Celine Lefebvre, pm

 Sr. Celine Lefebvre, pm (Sr. Claire-Francoise) , 88, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester, NH died November 20, 2024.

 She was born in Biddeford, ME on October 21, 1936 to Leonide and Cesarine (Nadeau) Lefebvre. She made her religious profession in 1958 and served in the Congregation of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary for 66 years.

 For most of her life, Sr. Celine participated in community services in Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts, especially in food services in houses catering to large numbers of sisters. She was always aware of providing the best meals possible.

 The Rosary Boutique in Methuen, MA was a special place for her. She would devote all her free time making rosaries with rose petals from flowers received for deceased persons. While in Methuen she was also assistant manager in property maintenance, particularly doing lawn work, which she loved. She took very seriously the task of collecting recycling material and delivering it wherever it had to be. She was a devoted and loving caregiver to her sister, Sr. Marie Lefebvre, pm. 

 She retired at St. Joseph Nursing Home in Biddeford, ME in 2019 and later transferred to St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, NH.

 She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Leo, Gerard, Marc, Albert and Bernard and her sisters, Emerentienne, Therese, Lucille, Gabrielle and Gertrude.

 Sr. Celine is survived by her brother, Andre Lefebvre of Biddeford, ME; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her Sisters of the Presentation Mary.

 SERVICES: A calling hour is Monday (11/25) from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed immediately at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial, all at Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH. Private burial will be in Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson, NH.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Presentation of Mary Retirement Fund.
