Sr. Estelle Leveillee, PM (Sr. Marie-Marcelline), 81, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester, died May 4, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Providence, RI on May 4, 1938 to Ovila and Lodia (Penoy) Leveillee. She made her religious profession in 1958 and served the Congregation of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary for 61 years.
Sr. Estelle earned a bachelor's degree from Rivier College and a master's degree from St. Bonaventure University. She taught at various schools in Rhode Island and New Hampshire and was Religious Education Director in Rhode Island for many years. She was also the Marie Rivier Association Province Director for most of her religious life.
She was predeceased by her parents and two siblings, Marcel Leveillee and Claire Rondeau.
The family includes a niece, Denise Klozbucher of Maryland; three nephews, Richard Rondeau, Roland Rondeau and John Rondeau; and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, May 10, 2019 in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester. Private burial will be in Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson.
