Sr. Jacqueline Ramsey, PM (Sr. Sylvia-Marie), 81, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester, died November 11, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Berlin on June 1, 1936 to Aime and Marie-Anne (Rousseau Ramsey.
Sr. Jackie was involved in community services in various convents in New Hampshire. She also participated in school and parish ministries for six years in Cameroon, West Africa. While at Rivier College, as a cook, she was the recipient of the Department of Defense Certificate of Appreciation. She retired in 2016.
She was predeceased by her parents and eight siblings, Rene, George, Jean, Raymond and Roger Ramsey, Jeanne d'Arc Guillemette, Rita Lemire and Claire Dumont.
The family includes three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Jacqueline Ramsey, Mrs. Adeline Ramsey and Mrs. Theresa Ramsey all of Berlin; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Resurrection Chapel at St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester. Burial will be at Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson.
