Sr. Juliette (Julie) Marie Ann Payment

Sister Juliette (Julie) Marie Ann Payment, CSC (Sister Mary Raymond of the Trinity), 83, died April 16, 2018 at Holy Cross Health Center, after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on July 10, 1934, she was the daughter of Lucien and Lydia (Marquis) Payment.
Sister Julie entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1962. She made her final profession in 1968 and served her Congregation faithfully for 56 years.
Sister Julie earned her Bachelor's degree at Notre Dame College. She spent most of her life as a teacher. She taught in elementary parochial schools under the direction of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in Groton, CT; New Bedford and Attleboro, MA. Sister Julie also taught at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA; Mount St. Mary High School and Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH; and Trinity High School in Manchester, NH. She was Principal of St. Joseph High School in Nashua, NH, and Administrative Assistant of Mount St. Mary High School in Nashua, NH. Sister Julie also spent two years as Activity Director for the Holy Cross Health Center, where she was deeply loved by all of the residents. She retired at Holy Cross Health Center in 2007.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in the chapel at the Sisters of Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Rd., Manchester. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
