Sr. Marguerite Y. Lapointe, PM

Sr. Marguerite Y. Lapointe, PM (Sr. Helene-Therese), 95, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, died January 25, 2019 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.
She was born in Burlington, VT on October 20, 1923 to Arthur and Emilia (Sicard) Lapointe. She made her religious profession to the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in 1944.
Sr. Marguerite taught in elementary schools in Maine and Massachusetts. After her 50 years in teaching she served at Marie Joseph Spiritual in Biddeford, ME.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Eli, David, William, Henry and Arthur and her sisters, Helene Benoit, Bibiane McDowell and Sr. Bernadette Lapointe.
Her family includes three sisters, Martha Trotter, Agatha Lapointe Branconnier and Sr. Therese Lapointe PM; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the chapel at St. Marie Residence. Burial will be at Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Presentation of Mary Retirement Fund, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH 03104.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
